WEDDING

Aside from my AP Portfolio, this is the most personally significant project I have done. My cousin, Zhuo, who is more like an older sister, was getting married and she asked if I could make a couple of designs for her. This occurred quite early in my graphic design journey so it really helped to fan the flame. It started with a logo for the wedding invitations. But as the wedding got closer and closer and I got better at graphic design, she asked me for more things. Another logo. A bar sign. A seating chart. I began to be a part of the whole process, going to cake testings, seeing sample floral arrangements, and meeting with the wedding planners. I learned an unbelievable amount about event planning and the logistics behind planning an event of such a scale. This knowledge wold be priceless when it came to planning Prom. But most importantly, I saw how significant the little things were and how hospitable the wedding planners were in making this perfect night.
